More specifically, your system resides on one of our dedicated FileMaker servers - itself a rack unit housed in a secure cabinet, alongside many other cabinets within a secure cage, on a secure floor of a world-class building: the Amazon Web Services data centre and Global Switch in Sydney. Value for money?

Just how secure is it?
Very. Data tends to be sensitive, so keeping our servers secure is of the utmost importance - and it's in our interest to do so, since it's our reputation at stake. Your solution is every bit as password-protected as it is on your own machine, leveraging FileMaker's own security tools and more. All of our servers provide secure access and are configured with SSL AES 256-bit encryption (server to web pages, and server to clients via FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Go), with current, valid third-party certificates. FileMaker also offers the ability to encrypt files "at rest", meaning they can be secured on local machines and mobile devices too. We can even provide SSL VPN connections where required.
So, to recap
If you need to share your FileMaker database with anyone, think twice about trying to host it yourself. Your best bet is to outsource it to someone who can do it better and cheaper than you can. Less cost, and certainly less headache. That's us.
